The Fiesta Youth Academic Year (AY) 2025/26 College Scholarship Application window is now open. The application window closes March 8th, 2026. Academic Year 2025-26 recipients will be introduced April 18, 2026 at our Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil event.
The $1000.00 scholarships are for youth continuing their education in a graduate school, university, college, or trade school and meet eligibility requirements below.
To be eligible:
17-25 years old
Not on academic probation
Current permenant address in one of the following counties (attending school outside of these counties does not disqualify you if your parent/guardian resides in one of these counties): Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Atascosa, Kendall, Bandera, Medina, Duval, Nueces, Kleberg, Kenedy, San Patricio, Jim Wells, and Brooks.
Not related to any current Fiesta Youth Board Member of Staff.

The application is a Google Form and includes the following essay type questions:
What have you learned from your experiences with Fiesta Youth and how will you use this knowledge as you build your future?
What would you like to see for the future of the LGBTQ+ community?
What are your future goals and your plans for higher education?
What is your personal biography? Tell us about who you are as a person. For example, your coming out experience, extra-curricular activities, family life, future goals in life, how you will give back to your community, etc.
What is the largest social injustice that you see and how would you address that issue? (no less than 500 words)
