youth summit
Texas Gay-Straight Alliance Network (Texas GSA Network), in partnership with Fiesta Youth, is thrilled to co-host the 2015 Texas GSA Network San Antonio Summit, on April 18, 2015. The summit is open to LGBTQ and ally high school students from both public and private high schools. This summit is a good fit whether you have a GSA club at your school, want to learn how to start a GSA club, or want to learn how to be an advocate for LGBTQ issues to create change and safety in your school and community.
The Texas GSA Youth Council, which is comprised of youth leaders ages 12-19, have been hard at work preparing for this summit. They look forward connecting with San Antonio, other cities, and communities in order to build a stronger movement for LGBTQ youth in Texas. The Texas GSA Network works to connect and empower youth leaders statewide to fight transphobia and homophobia in schools.
